Winter Wonderland Wonder Turners

Kids ages 8-14 are invited to the County Library on Wednesday, Dec. 13th at 4:30pm to make winter wonderland wonder turners!  Wonder turners, also known as thaumatropes, were a popular toy in the 19th century.

A paper disk is decorated on both sides with coordinated images. String is tied to the disk, and when spun, the images combine to form one scene! Participants will be able to create two thaumatropes to wow their families over the holiday season!
