Teen StarLab Stargazing at Haynes Branch

Teens are invited to join us at Haynes Branch on Friday, May 2nd at 4:30pm as we explore the night skies using the StarLab inflatable planetarium courtesy of the NC State Library. We will explore the night skies, watch the movie “From the Earth to the Universe” from ESO, learn how to use a star wheel, and make solar system bracelets!

Registration is required. Please call Haynes Branch at 828-288-4039 or fill out the form below. Unlike most of our other programs, you will need to include any parents/guardians who are with you (if they intend to enter the Starlab), as space is limited. The StarLab planetarium is wheelchair accessible, but please email Mary Katherine at mary.toney@rutherfordcountync.gov if you need this accommodation so that we can properly plan!

We understand that schedules change, but in order to best serve our patrons, we ask that you notify the library via phone or email if you find that you are unable to attend. This gives us the opportunity to allow other patrons to register.
