A Tower of Giraffes and a Leap of Leopards at Mountains Branch

A Tower of Giraffes and a Leap of Leopards:  the Timeless Sport of Identifying Game Animals

While presenting wildlife photos taken during a June 2025 safari in Southern Africa, Sara Cronk will shed light on where these fun, descriptive expressions of wildlife came from — you may be surprised.  Try inventing some expressions of your own.  Come join us at Mountains Branch on October 9th at 6:00pm and enjoy a glimpse of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa!

Sara and Jay Cronk moved to Lake Lure from Maryland in 2019.  Sara’s a fiber artist who is active in the Lake Lure Artists group. Both she and Jay love to travel and play pickleball.
