The database is searchable by author name, book title, series title, or genre (General Fiction, Mystery, Science Fiction, Romance, etc). |

Rutherford County Library Board of Trustees chairman Robin Spencer Lattimore was recently honored as the 2009 Historian of the Year by the North Carolina Society of Historians, Inc. He was chosen by a panel of scholars and professional historians from a list of more than 10 nominees from around the state. In addition to his role on the Library’s Board of Trustees, Lattimore also serves as an official Rutherford County Historian, president of the Rutherford County Historical Society, chairman of the Rutherford Historic Preservation Commission and is the author of over a dozen books on regional and local history.
